This is the electoral map Rudy Giuliani is pushing to prove he's electable versus Sen. Clinton. He has Maryland listed as a state he can swing. LOL [laughing out loud]. Anybody who believes Rudy Giuliani on this deservesthe electoral beatdown soon to follow.
Oliver Willis blasts Rudy's claimed ability to put so many states "in play" for the 2008 election.
Rudy's out of his mind if he thinks CA and Maryland may "swing" his way. Here's what another blogger has to say:
Mitt comes to mind as a Republican who's very competitive in those areas. No matter how badly Team Giuliani wishes (or spins) otherwise, there are very few "real" purple states in the 2008 Presidential General Election.
And those "real" purple areas are the battleground areas of the Great Lakes - Mississippi River region, the near West and Southwest, Pennsylvania and Florida.
And we're sure that Rudy Giuliani is very competitive in those areas. But so are a lot of other Republican candidates.
