Free Market News Network (FMNN) has a very interesting report here.
In a move that may dent Rudy Giuliani presidential hopes, several top, New York-based 9/11 organizations are apparently joining forces to set up a non-profit corporation, raise money and “follow Rudy around from stop to stop the way the Swift Boat veterans did” until his campaign is "wrecked."
“These people are angry,” says one source close to the groups’ strategic planning. “They have the resources, the political outreach, the legal backing and many of them have been personally injured – either physically or emotionally - by Rudy Giuliani’s arrogance and incompetence."
This source explains that the groups behind the upcoming “Swift Boating” of the Giuliani campaign are convinced that were he to become president, the country would be even more incompetently run – and diplomatically inept - than it is now. These groups also have observed Rudy Giuliani “close up” this source said, and believe he is an unstable, imperious personality who cannot be trusted with the great power of the United States presidency.
Such a "swift boat" assault on Rudy would be devestating. All he's got is 9/11 and supposed electability vs. Hillary. He won't be nearly as electable with 9/11 firefighters shouting at him during stump speeches.
