Fawning over Romney's Good Looks

Colorado MediaMatters has this story about Mitt's stunning hair and overall appearance.

Summary: Repeating a refrain heard from other local and national media figures, Fox News Radio 600 KCOL's Scott James on September 12 gushed over Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's physical appearance, labeling him a "fine-looking" and "[d]amn handsome" man. James further stated, "I'm thinking, look at that hair."
They go on to quote Bill O'Reilly:
"[Y]ou can't get more presidential-looking than Mitt Romney." O'Reilly continued, "[I]f you were to make up a guy, this would be the guy, you know, that looks presidential. He's got the jaw going on, the little gray thing in there." O'Reilly concluded that Romney's "presidential" looks bode well for his electoral prospects, saying, "I think that means a lot in America."
They finish with this quote:

In his June 5 column, Politico chief political columnist Roger Simon declared Romney the winner of the June 5 Republican presidential debate and attributed his victory, in part, to the fact that he is "[s]trong, clear, gives good soundbite and has shoulders you could land a 737 on." Simon had previously described Romney as having "chiseled-out-of-granite features, a full, dark head of hair going a distinguished gray at the temples, and a barrel chest."

Without question, Mitt is a nice-looking man. Bear in mind, though, that Mitt exercises, watches his weight, and overall has an extremely balanced life.

Fortunately for Mitt and all Americans, his strengths go far beyond the "handsome" genes he inherited from his forefathers.

Thanks for your post! I agree with all this and I think, momentarily, until a lot of folks get to know Mitt, they may be put off a little bit by his incredibly good looks, his All-American seemingly perfect family, and his polished performance -- "too good to be true, can we trust a guy that looks this good -- etc."

But it seems that wherever he goes and meets with people face to face, his numbers and popularity go up.

He is the real deal!

I was reading an article this morning in the Wall Street Journal (not WSJ online) about his health plan. I could only get the first two paragraphs because I don't subscribe.

He has terrific ideas for free market based health care.

I sell health insurance and if people could write off their health care premiums, and HSA plans would include plans other than those restricted to high deductibles - and other things Mitt has in mind - this would be a great step toward affordable health care.

You're right. Mitt's the complete package. We've just gotta give time to the voters (especially to the Fred fans) to figure it out and join Mitt's cause.
