I stumbled upon this interesting video as I searched for a Romney-related YouTube. The video focuses on several financially successful guys in Mitt's faith.
One of the guys near the end of the video said these things that I feel apply to Mitt's campaign:
"I don't think the world would necessarily be a better place if Mormons ran everything. I really don't.
I think what's important is to have people run things who are principled; who have a set of ethics; and who are anchored to those beliefs and ethics.
It doesn't matter if you are brought up Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, or Mormon. What matters is that you take those values and actually apply them when you leave the chapel."
That's the Mitt we need. He applies his values, which happen to be primarily from a Mormon upbringing.

Wow! This is a really great video. If Mitt doesn't use portions of this video for his campaign, especially in the South, we should get a group of Mitt supporters together to put an ad together that addresses Mormonism and leadership.
This was powerful. American Express, Jet Blue, etc. -- corporate names that are easily identified -- and the CEOs are Mormons.
I am not a Mormon, myself, but have the utmost admiration for those in the Mormon faith. They are the closest allies of evangelicals in America and hold the same values that Christians hold dear.
One of Mitt's biggest problems, from what I read, with evangelical conservatives, is his Mormon faith.
I think it needs to be addressed up front - with an like this video.
What think you?
I would be more than glad to contribute, because I think Mitt Romney is the best candidate in the Republican field and would be the best president of our country right now.
I am a Californian for Mitt!
I agree that it needs to be dealt with in an upfront fashion. However, evangelical sensitivities must be considered. It seems to be best to discuss shared values and not divisive details of theology.
Mitt is a smart guy. He'll know when it's right (if ever) to deliver a JFK-style speech.
One of the best things to come along is evangelicals for Mitt (http://www.evangelicalsformitt.org/). Their defense of Mitt is very helpful.
More Christians who oppose Mitt primarly or only on religious grounds need to visit that site. These evangelicals for Mitt can articulate how believing mainstream Christians can and should support Mitt--the most conservative and best choice for people of faith.
