Greatness

There are special moments in world history. This was one of them. In a mere 20 minutes Gov. Romney answered all of the questions that needed to be answered, showed uncommon conviction and generally inspired anyone listening that had the potential to receive inspiration.

The vast majority in awe, and for good reason.

Rush spent much of his time talking about the the greatness of the speech. He rarely endorses a candidate, but today sounded a lot like an endorsement.

Even Chris Mathews, who has been beyond critical of Romney, said, "For the first time in this campaign, it's long already, I heard greatness this morning."

David Brody said, "Bottom line: With an American President introducing him, American flags behind him, family hugs on stage and a speech written by him that was delivered from his heart, this day could indeed turn out to be the beginning of Mitt Romney’s ascension to the Presidency. All the candidates wish they could capture a moment like this. But they aren’t Mormon. In that way, maybe, in a way, Romney’s Mormonism could actually end up helping him rather than hurting him."

Hugh Hewitt called it, "...Simply Magnificent..."

Indeed it was.
