Why did you not vote for the Bush Tax Cuts, McCain?
Years ago, maverick McCain said, "I didn't think there was sufficient relief for working Americans." He further stated "the events that have transpired since then have validated that vote."
Now he says, back then he "saw no restraint on spending." That was why he voted against the tax cuts. He also gushes over the great progress the economy has made since then.
Which story is it? Was Bush a bozo or a genius for these cuts? Can't have it both ways, John.
