Mitt Rises, Huck Falls in SC Poll: Now Both Tied at 23%

Thanks to My Man Mitt for the tip. Here's the story by Rasmussen:

Election 2008: South Carolina Republican Primary

South Carolina: Huckabee 23% Romney 23%

Two weeks ago, Huckabee held a seven-point lead over Romney and Thompson. A month ago, Romney and Thompson were tied for the top spot and Huckabee was nine points behind in fourth place.

Over the past two weeks, Romney has gained five percentage points while Fred Thompson has lost six. McCain gained three points and nobody else moved more than a point or two.

So, Huck & Fred both yield ground to Mitt.

I like the direction Huck will continue to trend: downward (following Fred to the sea floor).

Actually, Fred may ascend to the surface again (but never take flight) due to a special endorsement in Iowa today. A little too late, however.
