The guy keeps on working. That's one of the key differences between Mike and Mitt. Mitt has worked for people's votes.
Mike, in contrast, vaulted to the top of the basis of identity politics (like Fred).
"He's like us." Pretty soon, after they find out what Mike really did and how he rests on the issues they'll say, "Oh. Really. Mike believes that?" And, "Why did he do that?"
