Blogging from Iowa

Holy cow is it cold here!

I know it gets cold in NY sometimes but you have not experienced cold until you try going door to door in Iowa for a caucus GOTV in January. It was like -15 degrees with the windchill and that wind didn't let up, blasting us at 25+ miles an hour.

Folks I met sure noticed the dedication of Romney volunteers and I think we won over a lot of late deciders with this effort. Polling is hard to pin down. How many polls came in today with different results?

There are still a lot of folks who are undecided and waiting till the last minute to make up their minds. I expect that when the cards come down on Thursday, we're going to have a lot of them breaking our way. Because between Romney and his main Iowa rival, it comes down to going with someone who can win the nomination. That's Romney. If Iowans want to keep their track record of picking winners, and keep the prestige of the first in the nation caucus in tact, Romney is the clear choice for Thursday.
