The NBC moderators really went after Mitt, badgering him on his personal contributions to his campaign. Some people have tried to imply that he's trying to "buy" the election.
It's a completely bogus argument.
For all the money you might spend on a campaign, You Can't Buy Votes! And that should be the end of it.
But, if you can't get all the free media promotion that Huckabee and McCain get, you won't get away with not spending. Nobody will ever be elected president without getting their message to voters. Nobody will ever get past the media's attacks without spending the time and money to effectively answer those attacks.
Winning takes money. That's why I've contributed to Mitt's campaign. That's why I signed up to help raise money for the campaign. That why I encourage you to donate as well.
If you approve of Mitt's performance tonight, if you agree he's going to be the best President for our country, let him know. Let's keep putting our money where our support is.

After being hammered with questions parroting stupid ideas like "buying" the election, Mitt performed amazingly. So, if you can't spin things one way, liberals will try to spin it the other: now some are saying MSNBC rigged the debate in Mitt's favor by giving him more time! LOL!
