All day I've been reading how there is complete "disarray" and "chaos" in the republican primary. This is code for: the media can't figure out how to credibly spin that everyone in America hates Romney.
I know, I know. I've already talked about this. But I can't get over it. Have a look at CNN's scorecard along with the summary below:
Total Primary Votes: | Romney | McCain | Huckabee | Giuliani | Thompson |
Iowa | 29,494 | 15,559 | 40,841 | 4,097 | 15,904 |
New Hampshire | 75,202 | 88,447 | 26,760 | 20,387 | 2,884 |
Michigan | 337,847 | 257,251 | 139,699 | 24,706 | 32,135 |
Total | 442,543 | 361,257 | 207,300 | 49,190 | 50,923 |
Total Delegates: | 52 | 15 | 22 | 1 | 6 |
Does this look like a contest with no pattern? With no "frontrunner"? With no single candidate pulling ahead? Romney has more delegates than the other candidates COMBINED! He has over 80,000 more votes than the next competitor! What planet are these droves of columnists, broadcasters, and bloggers from?
