John McCain has said "Economics Is Not Something I've Understood As Well As I Should." Mark that as the 2008 campaign "Understatement of the Year."
John McCain's spiteful and bitter siding with Ted Kennedy in voting against the Bush tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 have got to be recorded as two of the most boneheaded economic moves in his career. And yet he says he's proud to have voted against the tax cuts and that he'd do it again!
Just remember this when you cast your primary votes... if John McCain's vote had prevailed he would have weakened our nation economically. And now he thinks he should be in charge of the executive office?
After he loses this primary, maybe he'll enroll himself in Remedial Economics 101.
Read this press release which has more about McCain's horribly Jane Swift-ian economic policy.
