From Drudge Report this morning:
FLASH: RASMUSSEN Florida poll to be released: Romney 25, McCain 20, Giuliani
19... Developing...
That's the kind of holiday morning news I can use! Of course now it will be back to the same old game of everybody ripping Romney with all their misleading claims about his tax record and his flip-flopping, all while claiming moral superiority for their "clean" campaigns and consistent pandering. :-)

Ooooh, I'm in heaven. Hopefully, I won't fall through the fluffy clouds.
It may be true that South Carolina no longer plays much of a role in determining the nominee. Several noteworthy people stated that fact last week as SC-ers prepared to cast ballots.
Nevada (like Michigan), in contrast, is a much more diverse state who's outcome may more closely reflect Florida's potential.
yeah, I tend to agree about the Nevada v. SC thing. Nevada, though not to my taste or values, is California-ish, entrepreneurial, and probably much more of a bellweather--another MSM failure of perception, IMHO.
Mitt has not campaigned a whole lot in Florida until now. I predict that the more the Floridians get to know Mitt and his family, listen to his conservative positions, he'll do very well there. As always, once people get to know Mitt, they like Mitt, and they vote for Mitt. Florida is also a closed primary, I believe. He has always done well among Republicans and Conservatives.
I can't see any other candidate but Mitt for this time, this terror, this trial of economy. I fear John McCain has serious emotional and mental issues, which become apparent under stress. He would end up disgracing our military and interfering with its might. I fear Mike Huckabee is the best possible candidate for Democrat' success, and he would change the Consititution to fit his own interpretation of the Bible. Rudy is in NY and Ny in Rudy, but he is not "border safe" on many conservative issues...Ron and Fred, we need em in the cabinet, but not as CEO, commander in chief, leader of Nation...If it isnt Mitt in 2008, we will face the worst crisis in this COuntry since Pearl Harbor!!!
Kathy, you're funny but very true... I liked what you just said about all the candidates... *rolling in laughter*
