South Carolina is NOT going to pick the GOP nominee this year

Just got this from Jeff Fuller. He saw this on FOX News yesterday:

Here's the direct quote of Lee Bandy (I have it on my DVR . . . it's about 15 minutes into Special Report with Brit Hume on 1/17/08):

"What the voter says here . . . I don't think there's gonna be any clear winner.

So, this time around, South Carolina is not going to pick the winner.

Somebody else may do that this time."

Lee Brandy is an honored veteran political journalist of The State in SC.

So, this breaks with tradition. SC has selected the eventual GOP nominee since 1980 (I think). Not this time, friends. The race is too heavy with "electable" candidates still.

Mitt's wise to leave SC. Let Huck, McCain, Thompson, and Rudy (is here there?) fight it out in SC. Winning the gold in Nevada provides more delegates.

Update: Here's the YouTube with this SC political veteran.
