Maine for Mitt! Massachusetts for Mitt!

I can not believe the bias in the AP. Ok, I can. But I can't believe the journalistic malpractice in putting up a headline "Romney cedes Northeast to McCain" when that is patently false. Mitt is fighting hard for the states we're going to do well in. The campaign is working hard in Maine, and of course in Massachusetts. So what the heck was with that foolishness?

Well, now at least some editor realized the error of the AP's ways and the headline is "Romney aims for a split in California"

170 delegates in The Golden State. And Mitt picked up some major endorsements there. Ahnold is good for the liberal vote, which McCain had already locked up, but Mitt got the people's representatives endorsements, and it's those rep's districts that are holding what's effectively 50+ winner-take-all primaries. Our team has at least 20 offices going all out, and you know we're going to bring home some gold from the Golden State.

But first, we are in for some wicked good news out of Maine! I have family up there and they say that Mitt's sons have been on the local news all the time and there's been a number of events. It's a "closed" primary which helps us. It's also under reported by the national press, which has been the trend for most of Mitt's first place finishes. So stay tuned Mitt fans, this weekend we'll see that this contest is far from over.
