Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is reportedly mulling plans to rejoin the White House race as a Vice Presidential candidate.
In an interview with the Deseret Morning News, Romney's son said his father may pick up where he left off and join the race as a vice presidential candidate or as the Republican Party's protagonist.
A week after dropping out, Romney pledged his support for his one-time rival John McCain, describing him as a "true American hero".
But this was before McCain's campaign was rocked by a New York Times article which revealed that the 71-year-old Republican front-runner had an extramarital affair with a female lobbyist and did favors for her corporate clients.
The article has raised fears of a possible nosedive in McCain's campaign.

Wow - this story made it all the way to... Iran.
