Mitt Romney Will Endorse John McCain

Governor Mitt Romney has decided it's time to put an end Mike Huckabee's foolishness. Mitt's officially endorsing McCain today at 4PM.

Romney made his decision on Thursday, one official said. The endorsement came together quickly.

Romney's campaign notified McCain's camp after Romney made the decision, and McCain's campaign adjusted its campaign schedule to fly to Boston to accept the endorsement because the senator was campaigning in nearby Rhode Island.

For all the rough and tumble of this primary, I believe Mitt is making the right decision here. McCain needs to transition to the general election if the GOP is going to overcome the media hype that's propping up substance lacking Obama.

It's so funny that Huckabee is in the Cayman Islands instead of keeping up his fakery on the campaign trail. Maybe now that it's officially over, he'll decide to stay there.

PS: Why does this end the primary? With Mitt's delegates going to McCain, the GOP's nominee will have the necessary majority.
