It was really funny to note a bit of tragic irony in Obama's response to Romney's correctly noting that Obama has a very thin resume as far as qualifying him for the Presidency.
Obama's response was incredibly childish, and not well thought out. He said "Well, look at where Mitt Romney is, and look at where we are."
Where were they last Thursday when this exchange went down?
Barack Obama was stuck in the middle of explaining why he's caused such a harsh racial divide in his party. And why Hillary still has a solid lock on the white Democrat vote. And trying to explain his 20 year long association with a pastor who brought him up in a congregation fed on a strange gospel of division and racial preferance. And... what was Barack trying to say when he said "look at where Mitt Romney is and look at where we are" anyway?
SO where was Mitt last Thursday?
Mitt Romney was being honored at a special event for his efforts to promote religious liberty. Mitt and Ann were awarded the 2008 Canterbury Medal.
This year the Becket Fund is honored to bestow Governor and Mrs. Mitt Romney with its highest honor, the Canterbury Medal, for their role in expanding the free expression of religious faith in the public square. Each year the Becket Fund awards the Canterbury Medal to someone who has "resolutely refused to render unto Caesar that which is God's."
