McCain looks to fill ticket, and 3 hopefuls step up
Governor Charlie Crist of Florida, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, and Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts and a onetime rival for the Republican nomination, have all accepted invitations to visit McCain at his ranch in Sedona, Republicans said.

I don't think this means much: Jindal is, clearly, not in the running. Crist is a friend. JM needs, at the very least, to not alienate Mitt and his enthusiasts
