When asked to respond to McCain supporters -- such as former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney -- who have said Obama is not ready to be commander in chief, the senator from Illinois said he thinks what people are looking for is "good judgment.""I think I've consistently displayed the kind of judgment that the American people are looking for in the next president," he said.

Romney responded later on "The Situation Room," saying [about Obama]:
"The truth of the matter is just as I said, that he doesn't have a record of accomplishments in the private sector or in the governmental sector ... hasn't pushed a major piece of legislation.
"He seems like a charming guy who's very well-spoken. But in terms of actually having led, actually having accomplished something, actually having a kind of leadership that America needs at a critical time with our economy ... he's untested. ... Frankly, Sen. McCain is someone who is tested and very proven," he added.

>> More of Mitt on Obama: "He really has very little experience, and, you know, the presidency of the United States is not an internship..."
>> As Mitt said, Obama is "out of his depth" -- Thank goodness at least Mitt is willing to get out there and campaign against Obama. I haven't seen enough of that from McCain... take his wife Cindy's quote that her husband's campaign: "won't use negative stuff" -- come on! Pointing out key differences in policy is not going negative -- it's necessary information for the American people... one thing for sure, the press is more than happy to win this one for Barry. So, I hope McCain kicks it up a notch....
