Friday Morning VP news

The McCain campaign has done a masterful job of keeping up the suspense.

There were no leaks to the media overnight, unlike the Obama campaign who got scooped at 11PM the night before and decided to annoy their supporters with text messages at 3AM. That had to be a deliberate way of mocking Hillary, they could have sent that text at midnight, or really any time.

Well here's the news I've tracked down this morning...

McCain has been joking that he wants to pick Wilfred Brimley

Pawlenty is supposedly out.

Mike Huckabee wasn't vetted. I'm sure he's cool with that, as are his supporters. We are a united behind our nominee, and don't need silly convention stunts to fake it like the Democrats did last Wednesday.

So we'll find out around noon who the nominee is. Can't wait.

Congrats to Gov Palin being picked as VP.

And congrats to Sen Obama for becoming the next President of the United States.

McCain has proven himself to be the supreme manipulator for the purpose of satisfying his own ego. Instead of picking a proven conservative he picked an inexperienced one who he can outshine and manipulate for his own purpose. Did you see how he tried to push Sarah off the stage when she was giving her speech? He definitely wants the spotlight and that is why he did not pick a more experienced Mitt Romney, but he may get more than he anticipated wtih the random choice of Sara.
