I am subjecting myself to the torture of watching the drawl and dribble of these uninspiring speakers at the Democrat convention, just because I hope I'll get to watch the Clintons and Obamas get into a no holds barred cage match for the nomination. Yes, this is a big waste of time. I hope you're not wasting yours.
But I saw hope for something better, Drudgereport is relaying McCain May Announce VP Choice 'Before Friday'... Is McCain just waiting for Hillary to walk out of the Democrat convention like Debra to join his ticket after being spurned by Obama? I'm kidding!
So seriously, the biggest question I have tonight is how in the world did Nancy Pelosi become Speaker? She just can't communicate, and when she tries it's the opposite of inspiring, it's demotivating.
After seeing her yesterday on Meet the Press, I have a strong suspicion that we're going to see her taken down in one of the biggest corruption scandals DC has ever seen. She flatly admitted she's got conflicts of interest because she's invested in an energy plan that will only be financially successful if she can keep gas prices high.
That would probably explain why Pelosi is not allowing the House to vote on drilling for America's oil in America.
She also said multiple times that natural gas isn't a fossil fuel (it is). And then blew a basic Catholic theology question regarding abortion (The Pope says life starts at conception). I bet you think I'm kidding you. Sorry, not kidding. These Democrats are just not ready to lead.
McCain camp, please announce the VP as soon as possible so folks start talking about something better and more inspiring than this mess in Denver.

Ooooh--actually content on NYForMitt.
For a guy who doesn't get e-mail, McCain has sure put into place a good, savvy PR/Communications team. Not to make light of his past, but maybe McCain knows a thing or two about tormenting (I won't use that other word) people to get maximum publicity? Well, I'm impressed. And in pain!
