The buzz is... well it's not buzz now, it's confirmed fact... that McCain is in Arizona right now talking VP with his inner circle.
We'll all know by 11AM Friday who that person is they're talking about today.
The GOP base is definitely fired up for Romney. Foolishly, the Democrats are also excited, thinking they could make hay out of a McCain-Romney ticket. "Idiots!" as Napoleon Dynamite might say.
Whatever happens, it's McCain's decision to make. There are a lot of things to consider. Who knows what will happen. McCain is a maverick, right?
But sometime after the announcement is made, I'll have some comments to make about something I saw over 6 months ago, that might have meant nothing, or been a clue that was unmistakable tip of the cards that as far as I know nobody ever reported on.
More... I saw betting house odds makers are posting 16:1 that Obama will change his VP selection before the election. Gee, when the first pick didn't register in the polls (made him go down, actually), why wouldn't he. Obama's changed his mind on so many other things this election! I wonder if today's rollcall at the DNC convention will be part of that. Or Biden's speech?
