McCain's to Announce VP in 10 days

Politico.com has an exclusive story that McCain will announce his VP choice on August 29th. Nobody knows who it will be but they're saying it's a down to Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty...

Obama is supposed to be announcing his pick sometime this week, but at the moment I think his whole campaign is a little preoccupied with making insane and irrelevant conspiracy theories to explain why he failed so miserably in the Saddleback Civil Forum on Saturday. We'll see when they move to trying to change the news cycle with a VP announcement.

Then we'll be able to talk about how poorly whoever Obama's VP choice is compared to Mitt Romney and keep trying to steer John McCain to his best possible choice.

The whole Georgia thing takes McCain's superiority over BHO to another level, but it also makes his domestic policy deficit more glaring. MITT could fill that, as well as make several states competitive, including Mitt-chigan.

Go Mitt!
