I wouldn't be surprised. San Fran Nan is running the show for Barry. She effectively put an end to HRC's chances, keeping the super delegates together behind Obama. So, if Nan wants Chet...

There's some late breaking speculation that Obama will pick Texas congressman Chet Edwards as his running mate. Nancy Pelosi first floated the idea back in June. A few weeks ago, she said on ABC's This Week: "I didn't want to see a discussion of candidates for vice president without showing the House of Representatives… I just wanted people to be aware of the extraordinary credentials of Chet Edwards. And I hope he will be the nominee."

Oh yea, Edwards was the flavor of the day for at least part of this afternoon. First thing I said to myself was what you posted Jenn, Nancy Pelosi. She'd love to have her hooks into Obama even deeper and for sure this is not a guy that Obama really wants to share the ticket with. But Obama owes Pelosi big time, she bought him the nomination just to make sure she could remain the most powerful woman in Washington...
