Mitt in Detroit

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney met with 15 Metro-area business representatives for about an hour Thursday, talking about the economy and the proposed federal bailout of the financial industry.

He said he intends to participate in numerous meetings like Thursday's with local business, labor and community leaders to collect ideas. He is meeting with California Republicans on Saturday.

Romney said he isn't interested in a position in a McCain administration...

Mitt Romney repeatedly said he isn't interested in a cabinet position. This is a signal to McCain that he is on his own if he becomes president. Mitt's job is to campaign for Mac during this election and that is more than enough. Mitt should prepare for his next run if he is still interested in politics. Americans voted with their emotions rather than with their brains. Obama and McCain will have a very difficult presidency and either may not handle it well.
