A fed-up Democratic party official is calling on the state chairman to take a pay cut and wants the governor [Deval Patrick of Mass.] to take a page out of Mitt Romney’s playbook and give his salary back to taxpayers.
“Times are tough and the governor is the head of the party. If you’re going to lead by example then lead by example,” Barnoski said.
The governor has declined pay raises but has refused to work for free like Romney.
