Here is an interesting statistic. The reporter from Ch.4 in St. Louis quoted the organizer of our hometown Tea Party as saying that he expected about 100 people to attend the protest. He got 1,000!
He was also quoted as saying: "If I knew so many people were going to show up, I would have charged admission."

Tea Party, Columbia, Mo., March 12
It was announced on the air today that there will be a TAXPAYERS TEA PARTY on Thursday, March 12th 4 to 6 PM at Flat Branch Park in Downtown Columbia, Mo. The Tea Party is being organized by Local Talk Show Host Gary Nolan. Nolan was a former Libertarian candidate for President a few years ago.
Bring your tea bags and a letter of tax protest that will be hand delivered to Sen. Claire McCaskill (D).
