Kudos for Mitt Around the Web

A quick list with some of the positive coverage Mitt is receiving
for his op-ed: A Timid Advocate of Freedom

>> Hugh Hewitt, Townhall:
Romney Blasts Obama's Foreign Policy Pratfuls

Read the whole thing. The miscues are piling up ala Carter, and the costs will follow unless the new president genuinely commits to defending the country and all that it has accomplished and stands for rather than apologizing for it like a tweedy professor in search of the approval of his international colleagues at a conference.

>> The Hill
: 2012 Watch: Romney slams Obama on foreign policy

Romney has seen his stock rise among the field of potential 2012 potentials since the election.

>> Top of the Fold -- Drudge Report links to Mitt's op-ed, including a whirl thru Twitter

>> Also a link to Mitt's piece thru Hot Air's Headlines

>> Halperin's The Page links to Mitt's article: Romney on 'Timid' Obama

>> David Gregory includes a link to Mitt's op-ed in his Morning Read

>> Ben Smith, Politico:

Mitt Romney lays out the obvious Republican case against Obama's diplomacy in an NRO op-ed today, attacking Obama for being too nice to dictators and accusing him of demoralizing their victims

>>
Newsweek
's The Gaggle: Romney to Obama: You're timid, dude

...it is a forceful, uncompromising critique that is bound to get conservative hearts racing.

>> CNN Political Ticker

Mitt Romney went on the offensive Tuesday, slamming President Obama's foreign policy initiatives and calling the president a "timid advocate of freedom."

>> Saul Anuzis, Newt, Jordan Sekulow and many, many others 're-tweet'
and promote Mitt's op-ed on Twitter:

great op-ed by Mitt Romney in the National Review on Obama's foreign policy

>> Chris Cillizza's The Fix: Romney's Critique of the Obama Foreign Policy
Romney's broad criticism -- as explained in the piece -- is that Obama has been far too apologetic regarding America's past role on the world stage.

>> ABC News The Note: 2012 Republicans Paint Obama as 'Weak'

The former Massachusetts governor says Obama did not adequately stand up to Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega's denunciation of U.S. efforts to "free" Cuba and Romney criticizes Obama for telling "Arabic television" that America "dictated" to other nations.

Romney also takes Obama to task for not responding more forcefully to Iran's announcement that it has successfully mastered every step necessary to enrich uranium or to North Korea's launch of a long-range missile.

Leadership. What a difference between Romney and Palin. Palin gets headlines because she is picking fights with her daughter's 19-year-old ex-fiance. Romney makes headlines because people care and want to know what he thinks. He's clearly well respected by the voting citizenry and his political colleagues, and it shows that he's an important voice for the GOP. When he speaks, people listen (and read and pass on his words to others). No doubt, when it comes to foreign policy, Romney is a leader. As others have said, he's the complete package -- on foreign policy, economics and social policy he's a true conservative.
