Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will visit a Delaware County business Wednesday as part of a forum to discuss the Employee Free Choice Act.
The former Republican presidential contender will visit Allan Cohen, president of M. Cohen & Sons, formerly the Iron Shop in Marple, Wednesday afternoon at the 400 Reed Road facility.
Romey will discuss the ramifications of the Employee Free Choice Act with Cohen; his cousin, Sam Cohen, Vice President of M. Cohen & Sons; Michael S. Brady, financial consultant with LPL Financial Services in Chester and chairman of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Board; Jan Herschkowitz, President of PRL Inc.; Tammi Schaible, Vice President, V-Talese Interior/Exterior; Karen Bogosian, President & CEO, Visual Sound Inc.; and Jeffrey Vermeulen, President of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
The event is sponsored by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce but is coordinated in part by the Workforce Fairness Institute, a Washington-based organization working to defeat EFCA and which is involved in workplace issues.
