Giuliani Decides Against a Run for the Senate

Mr. Giuliani, whose decision to forgo a race for governor was reported a month ago, plans to endorse Rick Lazio for governor of New York on Tuesday afternoon at a news conference in Manhattan, the Republicans said. Mr. Giuliani’s intentions were reported by The Daily News on its Web site Monday evening.
His endorsement of Mr. Lazio, a former Long Island congressman, will enhance a sense of momentum that Mr. Lazio has been trying to project as he faces a potential primary rival in Chris Collins...
Lazio has been picking up a lot of endorsements around the state lately.
