The fact is, he's run a terrible campaign and his numbers are falling. That's his problem--not FOX's.
His claim that he's still 2nd nationally is "barely" true. He was in a more commanding 2nd place two months ago. Yet, a close look at the trends nationally and in early states demonstrate that he's been slipping sharply.When specifically asked about this decline by Chris during the interview, he had no direct answer. His only response was expressed as agitation and disappointment with FOX's "negativity."
Bad sign for his campaign when you deny the data and get combative. Indeed, Fred's ship is sinking.
