Romney on the Rise Nationally

Got this from the good people at Race 4 2008. New Rasmussen poll has Romney in 2nd place. This is the first time I can remember Romney being 2nd in one of Rasmussen's polls.

Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

  • Rudy Giuliani 27%
  • Mitt Romney 16%
  • John McCain 13%
  • Fred Thompson 11%
  • Mike Huckabee 11%
  • Ron Paul 5%

Survey includes approximately 600-650 Likely Republican Primary Voters. The margin of error is +/- 4 percentage points.

National polls have little predictive value at this point, but it's nice to see Romney rising generally. If the margin is this close a couple days before Iowa, Romney will have the primaries locked away by New Hampshire. Rudy's gotta be sweatin'.

I couldn't find a place to contact the makers of this blog, so here's the message. Please take a look at http://www.December7thforMitt.com and I'm sure once you see what we are trying to organize, you will support and publicize this ambitious and important event. Thanks!
