Last days of fundraising before Iowa

How can New Yorkers (and anyone reading this blog) make a huge difference in getting Governor Romney nominated, and then elected president?

Fundraising. I can't say this enough, but as I've learned from personal experience, it takes funds to run a successful campaign, and when you're running as a less well known candidate like Mitt Romney (compared with how much press fawning goes to McCain and Giuliani and Obama and Hillary, for example) to get known you have to advertise like crazy.

Mitt Romney has an ad running every hour or so in Iowa and New Hampshire, on radio and TV. The campaign is sending out targeted mailings and emails. Every effective means of getting the campaign message past the media filters, they're taking advantage of.

It will take contributions from large and small donors to keep the operation going, and Mitt hasn't slouched at all in matching our donations with his own hard earned money.

A donation of $25 can go a long way in bulk rate mail. A donation of $80 would cover the cost of running a TV ad in Iowa. It's about $1200 to for an ad in NH. And because John McCain wants to limit free speech in America, the most anyone can donate to a campaign for the primary is $2300. Let John McCain know your voice will not be silenced, by clicking here and giving what you can.

Thanks so much. We're going to win this, thanks to all of you.

This is for "Nealie"... Hey there, nice blog. I used to work with your brother at a firm here in Vegas, and we both heart Mitt, so I'll probably drop in from time to time with some tidbits... like this one from Newsbusters.org:

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2007/12/27/huckabee-jokes-about-shooting-romney-will-msm-duck

Yeah, Huck sure did joke about shooting Mitt and when probed later said "I wasn't teasing. I was serious: don't get in my way."

Just thought you'd find that interesting, since no one else in the mainstream media did.
