Mitt Educates Glen Johnson, Glen Still Doesn't Get It

Neal posted about Mitt's encounter with the AP's Glen Johnson, the reporter with a major anti-Romney agenda. A guy exhibiting that kind of unprofessional behavior belongs working on some left-wing Democrat blog. I wonder how much longer he'll be able to get away with this. Usually when reporters become the story, their careers are over.

You can look at Dan Rather's bizarro attacks on Bush in 2004 for an example of what happens when personal vendettas blind professional judgement. You don't see him reporting the news anymore either.

Anyway Mitt handled this very well. Glen still got to file his story on the event but he couldn't even get past the first sentence without trying to stick it to Mitt. It's 6 paragraphs in that he buries the lede:
John McCain's campaign is run by a
Washington Lobbyist!
The story also tells that Mitt took Glen ("an AP reporter," as he refers to himself in third person") up to the front of the campaign plane to educate him on the Romney campaign organization. No lobbyists are on the paid staff, but you'd never know that from the way Glen hacked out that article. This guy is an embarrassment to journalism. And Romney is really too good of a guy, most candidates (angry crank McCain, especially) would have called the reporter's boss and told them to pick him up at the bus station.
