What Was the Point of Rudy's Campaign?

Was just watching the unfortunate and wrong endorsement of McCain by Rudy.

As he started to give his speech on Fox News, the audio went dead.

Given that this event was held at the Reagan library, I am not going too far out on a limb here to say that Ronald Reagan was probably rolling over in his grave and unplugged the mike.

I'm still asking myself, what the heck was the point of Rudy's campaign? Tens of millions of dollars spent and not a single state won. Rudy didn't even a win a single delegate. So what's that endorsement even worth? And when most of Rudy's voters say Mitt is their 2nd choice, why did Giuliani endorse the wrong guy?

It's interesting, there's significant evidence of collusion between Rudy and McCain's campaign. Rudy dropped out of NH to help McCain win, Rudy stayed in Florida to help McCain win. And now he's gone. Just a stalking horse for the other big government liberal in the race.

Well, he's gone now and it's just Huckabee trying to help McCain. Tonight's debate is going to be interesting.
