Sounds like Rudy has been listening very closely to Mitt. Here's the story.
MOULTONBOROUGH, N.H. -- Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani said Monday that the free market is the best solution to rising health care costs.
"You don't want to go in the direction of socialized medicine," Giuliani said. "That's a terrible mistake."
Giuliani said that Cuba, Canada and Europe have universal health, but their citizens come to the United States for the best care.
"Only Michael Moore, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards, I guess, would want to go to Cuba for health care," he said.
I really like Rudy as a guy. He can jab the Dems so well. But, I like neither his day-to-day leadership ability nor integrity. Remove 9/11 and you have what Mitt Report refers to as a simple Municipal Rudy. He was not popular in many (perhaps most) parts of NYC--until 9/11.
Further, what did Rudy to improve health care while in power? What did Mitt do? Exactly what Rudy is talking about above--market-based answers to the problem. Talk is cheap, mayor. Copying ideas is easy. Implementing ideas is hard. Mitt led out and implemented. You didn’t, Rudy.
More dressed-up Rudy images here. Not very becoming, in my opinion.
