An Improved Economic Outlook with Mitt

That negative job report that came out today, well Mitt is all over it. I'm sure John McCain is telling voters (if he dares touch the topic) that "Those jobs are gone! They're not coming back!" Just like he did in Michigan. He call's that straight talk.

That's not straight talk, that's defeatism!!! And that's what's going to cost the GOP the Whitehouse if McCain is our nominee. Huckabee was wrong, McCain is the one with the bunker mentality when it comes to the economy. McCain really needs to just admit it, he's not qualified to lead the country and face the full spectrum of challenges in our time. Sure, he's got a biography that makes people think that he'll be good on national security. But will he really be that good? What evidence do we have of that? I'd really like to know. Particularly since he went right along with Clinton's plan to decimate the military in the 90's. Not a single protest from him there.

Ok, back to the economy! Let's not have McCain change the subject again.

Here's the way a Reagan Republican takes the news that there's problems which need fixing in our nation's free market system... and a broken Washington.
The news out of the Labor Department today that job losses are spreading and wage growth is slowing underscores the importance of the economy in this year's election. Knowledge of the economy is my strong suit. It's where I spent my career. We can get our economy moving again by cutting taxes on individuals and businesses and by making it easier for people facing foreclosure to refinance into more stable mortgages. I will fight for every job and to make America prosperous again.
